Our annual Tails on Trails will be held as a virtual 5k/10k walk/run this year to support Spay Today, a program of The National Humane Education Society. Spay Today serves as a tangible example of spaying and neutering as part of the humane solution to ending the overpopulation of homeless animals. Providing an average of 4,000 reduced-cost spay/neuter procedures each year, Spay Today’s services are only possible because of the generous support of people like you.
For this virtual walk, you can walk by yourself or with a team. You can also choose to fundraise on behalf of NHES by asking for pledges for your individual or team walk/run. No matter which type you choose, pick a time and a place convenient for you to walk during the week of March 20-28. Feel free to take photos and post pictures on social media with the tag #tailsontrails.
All proceeds will benefit Spay Today, a program of NHES, a 501 (c) (3) organization. (Spay Today is a sister program to The Briggs Animal Adoption Center.)
