Our annual Tails on Trails will be held as a virtual 5k/10k walk/run this year to support Spay Today, a program of The National Humane Education Society. Spay Today serves as a tangible example of spaying and neutering as part of the humane solution to ending the overpopulation of homeless animals. Providing an average of 4,000 reduced-cost spay/neuter procedures each year, Spay Today’s services are only possible because of the generous support of people like you.
For this virtual walk, you can walk by yourself or you can also choose to fundraise on behalf of NHES by asking for pledges for your individual walk/run. No matter which type you choose, pick a time and a place convenient for you to walk during the week of March 20-28. Feel free to take photos and post pictures on social media with the tag #tailsontrails.
All proceeds will benefit Spay Today, a program of NHES, a 501 (c) (3) organization. (Spay Today is a sister program to The Briggs Animal Adoption Center.)
*for these options you will solicit pledges from others for your individual walk
*registration for the virtual walk is $20
If you would rather skip the walk, but would still like to help, you can make a donation or support a shelter dog here.
