We sincerely appreciate your interest in volunteering with our organization. Due to ongoing staffing shortages,
we will be placing our volunteer program on pause effective March 18, 2026. Applications received before this
date will continue to be carefully reviewed, and we will reach out directly to all applicants. We understand how
valuable our volunteers are to our mission, and we are grateful for your patience and support during this time.

Are you interested in being a volunteer or foster one of our rescued animals?
Activities for volunteers include, but are not limited to:
- Hands-on interaction with the dogs such as walking, grooming, socialization and providing love
- Socialize with our cats in the cattery
- Assist our staff at off-site adoption events
- Assist our staff at fundraising and special events
- And for those who like getting their hands into Mother Earth, volunteer for our Grounds Beautification program by helping us plant trees, bushes and flowers.
Volunteer/Foster process:
- Submit a Volunteer/Foster Application and Agreement
- Attend a Volunteer/Foster Orientation
- Agree to work a minimum of eight hours a month for volunteers
- Have love and compassion in your heart for animals
- Must be at least 18 yrs old to work with dogs
