Winston

Winston is very sweet and very timid.

He came to us from a rescue who said his owner didn’t want him. We were told he had been around other dogs, cats and kids but we believe he was not treated very kindly since he is so afraid and often nervous, especially around men.

Winston will probably pace around the room if you come and visit with him. He will need several visits with his potential adopters in order for him to begin to relax so we can see if he might be a good match.

Due to his nervousness and a tendency to run when he’s scared, his adopters should have a very secure fence and they should also have a fairly quiet home without a lot of visitors and activity. He may be a good companion for a single person or a couple without a lot of active children coming in and out of the home.

In time, he should become acclimated to his surroundings and feel like he’s in his own, permanent home.
