Hey there, I’m Rory.

I want to tell you a little bit about me…

I came to Briggs when my family gave me up because they weren’t committed to caring for me.

It wasn’t anything I did and in fact I am a very good girl.

I am very shy at first with new people.  I mean, can you blame me?

I am feeling a little more comfortable with my favorite caregivers thanks to their patience and pockets of treats!

But, what really helps me come out of my shell are other compatible dogs.

And, my favorite time of day here is when I get to run and play with my group of dog friends!

In fact, I simply will not go to a new forever home unless they have a young, active, and confident dog there to be my best friend.

And, as for my forever humans, well, they should be patient, kind and have big hearts too!

I would also prefer a quieter home where I can slowly become comfortable with things.

Homes with small children are not for me, but some of my friends here would be great for that kind of family.

I have a lot of love to give and the desire to grow. I just need the right environment to help me blossom!
