Max

Max is a very friendly pup who loves other dogs, cats and kids.

His previous owners moved and could not keep him. He was living in a home with kids ages 2-15 yrs, one other dog and 2 cats.

Although he was a bit anxious when he first arrived, Max is now ready for his forever home.

Max has a lot of energy and would do well in an active household.

He may even benefit from having a shared hobby with you such as agility training.

He will, however, need time to settle in and get comfortable with you and his surroundings.

Max will require a home with a taller board on board fenced yard.

We are not confident that a 4 ft high fence is tall enough to contain him and want to ensure his safety.

Max has also been known to wiggle out of his harness on a walk so we may suggest that you use a specific type of harness for him.

In addition, it would be best to let him out in your enclosed yard initially until he has become bonded to you to help prevent him from wanting to escape.

We were told Max is house-trained but we cannot guarantee it. It’s important that when he first arrives at your home, you take him outside frequently (and praise him) to establish a routine for him in his new place.

This boy is sweet as can be.
