This gentle and gorgeous gal is Helena.

She was found as a stray and eventually ended up in our care.

Helena is quite timid at first introduction and usually keeps to the back of her kennel.

She has started to warm up with her trusted caregivers showing them both her sweet and playful sides at times.

Helena will need a quiet home with owners who have experience helping shy dogs begin to trust again.

At this time, we will require potential adopters to have a securely fenced yard for Helena’s safety.

She will likely need multiple visits to get to know potential adopters and feel more comfortable with them.

Helena has a lot of potential and we already see her showing signs of trusting again in our caring environment.
