Cricket is one of our “Special Needs” dogs who will require a special person to give her a forever home.

She was adopted out once before many years ago and was returned once the family had children.

Cricket will need a home without children and cats as she does much better in a home without them.

She will also require a fenced yard and dedicated owners who are familiar with how to handle Cricket’s special needs.

Cricket does not like anything around her neck and may make loud yelps if startled or uncomfortable.

It is best to walk Cricket on a harness for this reason.

She does not give the normal dog cues in body language when she starts to feel nervous or threatened.

So it is important that potential owners have had a lot of training with dogs that behave differently from the norm.

Cricket has had many looks while she’s been with us. This is her well-groomed look.

Cricket’s normal coat is longer and very curly. Whether she wears her coat long or cut short she is completely adorable.

With her human companion(s) that she bonds with and loves, Cricket is a dedicated and loyal dog.

If you think you have the training and dedication to care for Cricket please consider making multiple visits with her to help her get to know you.
