To honor the memory of Anna C. Briggs and to save more cats and dogs from neglect and abuse, 10 volunteers are seeking pledge support and will each hike 10.1 miles on the Appalachian Trail for a combined total of 101 miles—equal to Anna C. Briggs’ 101 years on this earth helping to create a more humane world for animals. The hike will take place on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

We’d like to invite you join us in “taking thousands of steps” to save more animals—and you can do it at your own pace in a location of your choosing!

You can walk by yourself or with a team. You can also choose to fundraise on behalf of NHES by asking for pledges for your hike. To learn more click here.
