Peanut

Peanut was the name given to this big girl.

She was given up because her human companion became ill and could no longer take care of her.

When Peanut came to Briggs, she was very, very thin. She also had several scrapes and cuts on her, with a particular large injury to her left eye. Our veterinarian got to it in time and was able to save her eye, thankfully.

Peanut is full of energy and playful. She loves people and getting lots of attention.

If you have another dog at home for her to meet, after you meet Peanut first, we can see how the dogs get along in another meeting.

Peanut can be a little dominant with smaller, barking dogs so it may take a few visits, depending on the size of your dog. But Peanut is definitely a sweetheart with her human companions.
