Pocahontas is a survivor.
She and her siblings were found as strays shortly after losing their mother.
They were all adopted into homes, but Pocahontas was recently returned due to allergies.
When she arrived back at Briggs she also had damage to her left eye from a dental surgery complication.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of our veterinary staff, the eye had to be removed.
Pocahontas is still recovering both from surgery and losing her family.
She can be sweet one minute and feisty the next.
We can understand her mood swings with all that she has been through.
Pocahontas would love to have a family of her own again and this time we hope it’s forever!
