Ebony

Ebony is “Feline Good.”

It’s her theme song in fact.

Birds flying high, Sun in the sky, Breeze driftin’ on by… this is how Ebony feels.

On the darkest of nights she was abandoned on the side of a busy road in front of the BAAC.

From the moment she was found it was clear that Ebony was a special girl with a very positive cat-titude.

Abandonment, malnourishment and severe dental disease could not diminish this girl’s inner sunshine.

She glows like an ember as if her body cannot contain all the love she has inside.

This young at heart gal with the tipped ear and bob tail still enjoys a good game of chase with her favorite toys.

And, if you have any tasty food out beware of a stealthy gal sneaking a wee little taste.

Ebony may only have a few teeth left, but it certainly hasn’t deterred her appetite!

She resides upstairs in our NHES offices where it is a little quieter and she can get lots extra love.

But, nothing will ever compare to a home of her own.
