Curly

Curly is the sibling of Larry and Moe.

All three of these dogs are very shy and afraid. They will take time to come around and they need to go to homes where the people have some experience with afraid and insecure dogs. It would also help to have a sturdy fenced yard. Adopters also will need to have the patience with them to allow them to come around in their own time.

Even with that, these dogs may never act like a normal, playful dog because they weren’t socialized with people when they were young. They’ve been with us several months and are relaxed around our trainer and the animal care attendants because they’re accustomed to them and trust them. They do respond to them and like to snuggle and cuddle.

Curly, Larry and Moe will take time to bond to their human companions but once they do, they should be fine with their family. Another dog in the home can help these kind of dogs because they will watch how the other dog responds in the home.
