Once Chewie gets to know you, he will be all over you, but initially he is a bit standoffish with strangers.

He isn't fond of people he doesn't know well holding him still or confining him for very long but he has improved a lot at the BAAC with people he gets to know and feel comfortable around. Initially, he was also very sensitive to his tail being touched but he has improved in that area as well since being here.

We do not feel Chewie would do well with young children. He may do best in a home with one-on-one or two people to share his life with.
