Sweet, sweet Lola came from the same horrible place as Bennet and another dog

She had to be shaved down because her coat was so matted with mud and excrement. Amazingly, she was quiet and did very well while being bathed and clipped. It was possibly the first time in her life that she had received such attention and she loved it (not to mention getting clean, warm and dry).

Lola is pretty outgoing and as noted previously, very sweet. She is shown above in one her favorite positions (getting a belly rub).

The poor condition of all three dogs' teeth indicate that the they may be around five years of age but we have seen many chain dogs that were only three years of age with teeth like this. Whatever their ages, they deserve to have human companions who will provide them with the permanent, loving homes we wish they had received in their earlier years of life.

Ask to see the photos we have of Lola and her home before she arrived at the BAAC and you will get an idea of just what she and her fellow canines had to endure. You'll be amazed at the gentle dispositions they exhibit after receiving such a deplorable lack of care in their earlier years!
