Name: Pinky
Breed: Sphynx Mix
DOB: 06/01/2008
Gender: Male
Weight: 9
Information:

Pinky and his brother, Dinky, are very unique cats.

They are a Sphynx mix breed. The Sphynx appears to be a hairless cat, but actually are not totally hairless. Throw in the fact that they are mixed, these two have more hair than the purebred Sphynx.

Their skin texture is very smooth like the feel of suede or chamois leather. They have fine hair that feels different also.

Sphynx cats are sometimes thought to be hypoallergenic due to their lack of coat but that's not always the case. Because of the lack of hair that would normally absorb body oils, the Sphynx cat needs periodic bathing and ear cleaning.

Sphynx are extremely inquisitive and most love to be the center of attention. Dinky is one of those type of cats. Pinky, however, is more introverted and depends on Dinky for his security and confidence.

These two brothers have been with us since July of 2009 and it took over 6 months before Pinky felt comfortable enough to come out into the open cattery. He has acclimated quite well though and is not as afraid as he was when he first arrived. But due to their closeness, we need to find a home for Pinky and Dinky to go into together.

If you want two unique cats and are willing to give them baths about once a month, come see these two!
