This handsome young man goes by the name of Edwin.

Edwin really likes people and will also talk to them. He may be saying, "Rescue me from all these other cats and take me to your house!"

Most cats do very well in a colony of other cats and Edwin does fine too, but you can tell he likes his personal space. If another cat comes into his space of about 3 feet, he will hiss and swat at them. He's just telling them to back off.

It could just be because he prefers to be in a quieter home with only one or two cats that he can get to know. Or, possibly, he may want to be the only cat in the home. At this point, he's not stressed being around the other cats, he's just a little bossy.
