Archie acts protective of his kennel, but when he's not in his kennel, he begins to warm up and feel more relaxed.

When Archie is allowed a little time to get to know someone, he's less reserved and begins to relax, to the point of even playing.

He acts a little tough around other dogs but that is probably due to his fear as well.
