Belle is a shy and sweet German Shepherd mix who has been with us for several years.

Belle was brought to us by a volunteer whose neighbor just moved out and abandoned her and another dog. The other dog ran off but Belle just stayed by the house until the volunteer was able to get her to bring her to the BAAC.

Belle is hand-shy and quick movements with your hand cause her to shy away from you. Even taking her pictures, she doesn't like to look at the camera so it's hard to get her to look forward.

Belle doesn't show well when you walk by her kennel so please ask to see her up in the adoption room to give her a full chance. It would be wonderful for her to bond to someone as she has with the staff and find herself a wonderful, permanent loving home for the rest of her life.
