Remmy

This handsome black and white Lab mix is named Remmy.

When he arrived at Briggs, he tested positive for Lyme disease. Lymes can be a deadly disease caused by ticks as many people know. We treated Remmy for a month and he began to feel much healthier.

Remmy’s brother came in at the same time but was adopted out separately which was the best thing for both of them since Remmy tended to dominate his brother.

Remmy is friendly and affectionate with people. If there is another dog in the home, we would want to have them visit a couple of times to make sure both dogs would get along.

Even though Remmy has been around kids and has done fine with kids, we are hesitant to adopt him into a home with young toddlers as he may see them as a smaller animal that he can boss around.
